Thank you for hosting me ARITA - Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association at your 2023 National Conference at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort on Queensland’s Gold Coast (31 July - 2 August).

The three-day ARITA National Conference was geared specifically to cover the current trends, challenges and new opportunities in the restructuring, insolvency and turnaround sector to equip the industry with the tools to prosper in a time of change and disruption.

With presentations from industry-leading speakers, carefully curated topics, panel discussions and up-to-date case studies, ARITA’s sell-out 2023 National Conference was the must-attend event for professionals working in the Australian insolvency and turnaround industry, delivered by Australia’s largest professional association representing insolvency and restructuring professionals.

I presented on disability and employment in the workplace as well as some of my personal experiences. We can all be better and employ more people with disability. By doing this we will improve Australia’s ranking from 21 (out of 27 countries) of the OECD employment rate of people with disability.
